    Lauren Dwiggins

    Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer

    Lauren previously worked at the Texas Education Agency on a variety of initiatives, including the development and management of statewide program evaluations; curriculum policy; college, career, and military preparation initiatives; the expansion of advanced academic opportunities to rural school districts; and a statewide project to help school districts identify next steps for low-performing campuses. Prior to her time at TEA, she worked as an Educational Consultant for Vanderbilt University, where she helped teachers and administrators understand data and identify targeted supports for students with emotional and behavioral disorders. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Texas A&M University and a Master of Public Policy degree in Education Policy from Vanderbilt University.

    Shane Thomas

    Co-founder & Chief Program Officer

    Shane previously worked as the Work-Based Learning Program Specialist at the Texas Education Agency, where he utilized key elements and best practices of career awareness, exploration, and preparation to create a statewide work-based learning framework. Prior to joining TEA, Shane served as Career Education and Workforce Partnerships Coordinator with Dallas Independent School District, where he aligned Career and Technical Education programs to support local labor market needs. Prior to his time in Texas, Shane led international career skills competitions as DECA’s Director of Competitive Events. Shane began his career as a Marketing Teacher and Cooperative Education Coordinator with Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia. Shane has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing Education from Virginia Tech and a Master of Arts degree in Business and Marketing Education from Ball State University.

    Yeeland joined CareerCraft to develop innovative tools for district administrators, school administrators, teachers, counselors, and students. He leverages his career of leading teams and building software that has served a variety of needs from a user base of 20 million users wanting an easy-to-use app to help with achieving their fitness goals to Fortune 100 companies needing a secure, enterprise-grade platform to organize and run their experimentation programs. He has previously worked as a Tech Lead for Optimizely, the Head of Engineering for Experiment Engine, and a Tech Lead for MapMyFitness. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

    Jonathan joined CareerCraft with over 15 years of experience in public education. He has served as a High School Math Teacher, Math Instructional Coach, and Assistant Principal. He has a proven record of educational leadership that includes working with teams to increase math STAAR scores, raise the percentage of students that were College, Career, and Military Ready and support students to increase graduation rates. Jonathan has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Education Administration from Lamar University. Jonathan believes that clear communication, building relationships and working as a team are the keys to school improvement and student success.
