TRPN Support

Build a regional pathway that lasts beyond the grant.

The Challenge

A successful grant is only the starting point.

Building a sustainable regional pathway requires coordination across school districts, higher education, employers, funding sources, and reporting requirements. CareerCraft provides the expertise and capacity to keep those pieces moving from application through planning and early implementation while building school district capacity for long-term sustainability.

How CareerCraft Helps

  • Grant Strategy & Application Development

Shape a strong TRPN proposal, clarify the regional strategy, identify appropriate partners, and develop the grant application.

  • Regional Pathway Planning

Design high-quality pathways that respond to local workforce needs and create meaningful education and career opportunities for students.

  • Partnership Development

Help bring together participating school districts, higher education institutions, employers, workforce organizations, and other partners around shared goals.

  • Grant Management & Reporting

Support implementation, progress monitoring, required reporting, and the ongoing administrative work involved in managing a TRPN grant.

  • Fiscal Mapping

Identify the federal, state, local, and other funding sources available to support the work and understand how they can be used together.

  • Sustainability Planning

Develop a strategy for maintaining successful programs, partnerships, and student opportunities after the TRPN grant period ends.

What an Engagement Looks Like

Support from proposal through sustainability.

  1. Design the Opportunity

Define the regional strategy, identify potential partners, and determine what a successful pathway could look like.

  2. Build the Partnership

Engage the school districts, higher education institutions, employers, workforce partners, and other organizations needed to make the initiative work.

  3. Develop the Proposal

Translate the strategy into a strong grant application with clear pathways, activities, goals, partnerships, and implementation plans.

  4. Implement the Work

Support program management, stakeholder coordination, implementation, data collection, and required reporting.

  5. Plan for What Comes Next

Use fiscal mapping and sustainability planning to identify how successful programs can continue after grant funding ends.

Build Beyond the Grant

Make the grant a catalyst, not a dependency.

CareerCraft helps partners identify available funding sources, determine how those resources can work together, and create a realistic plan for sustaining successful programs and partnerships after the TRPN grant ends.

The goal is a regional pathway that continues creating opportunities for students long after the original funding period.

Who We Work With

CareerCraft supports TRPN initiatives involving:

  • School districts
  • Education Service Centers
  • Higher education institutions
  • Employers and industry partners
  • Workforce development boards
  • Coordinating entities and nonprofits
  • Other regional and community partners

Why CareerCraft

TRPN experience from the earliest cohorts.

CareerCraft’s TRPN experience goes back to the program’s beginnings, including team experience at TEA during its early development.

Today, CareerCraft supports 4 of the 8 current TRPN grantees, in addition to partnerships from previous cohorts. That experience helps us anticipate challenges around reporting, coordination, implementation, local dynamics, and long-term funding.

More Than Grant Support

An extra layer of capacity for complex regional work.

CareerCraft can step in where regional teams need additional capacity, helping coordinate stakeholders, solve implementation challenges, and keep the work moving across organizations and competing priorities.

“CareerCraft has been an invaluable resource throughout the TRPN grant period. The Permian Basin Innovation Zone is in a better position because of CareerCraft’s support.”
